Room 314 - Saturday Morning

When Jo woke up and found she wasn’t in her normal room in Charterville, California she didn’t find anything unusual about it and instead assumed that one of the monsters at Hillhurst had messed about with some experiments and now she had ended up in a different location - she had a look round what seemed to be her side of the room, it appeared she was in a dorm room of some kind.

She spotted a calendar on the wall, “it’s October 2021 here?” she’d somehow been transported across time as well.

“With the monsters involved? Yeah it is probably bad, odds are it was mums,” Jo shook her head, “I’ll have to talk to Flabber, assuming they figure it out and I get back,” she paused “and Charterville is c-h-a-r-t-e-r-v-i-l-l-e,” she added helpfully.

"Monsters," Jason repeated, as he wrote that down with a nod, following it with a lot of questions marks, and he wrote down Flabber as well, and then slowly wrote down each letter of Charterville as the girl spelled it out.

He took a second to look over those three notes like it was a detailed dossier, smacked his pencil against hte paper, and nodded again.

"And who is this..." He checked the notebook. "Flabber? Where can I find him? He must be a Person of Interest."

“Oh he’s a Phantasm, he lives at Hillurst Mansion,” Jo said casually like this was a normal everyday conversation for her, “my brother Drew and friend Roland released him from a pipe organ,” as one did.

Oh! Good! More things to write down!

"Hillurst Mansion," Jason repeated thoughtfully, lifting his head and squinting into the distance in case it started to ring any bells. It didn't, but what kind of a mystery solver would he be if he couldn't figure it out. "I'm on it! Don't you worry, Miss! We'll get this Case of the Misleading Calendar solved in no time!"

Now if only he could find the rest of his Mystery Team!
